From engineering to volume production: 14 years of manufacturing innovation
The start of our manufacturing activities
When we launched our in-house manufacturing activities in 2012, our PCBA team consisted of only a handful of employees working in a single daytime shift. We started with one SMD line, one selective THT line, a Flying Probe Test system and an X-ray inspection machine.
Today, in 2026, our production environment looks completely different. The team has grown significantly and now operates in a two-shift system, substantially increasing our annual production capacity. This growth reflects not only the trust of our customers but also our continuous investments in technology, automation and quality assurance.
Factory of the Future
A major milestone in this evolution was our recognition as a Factory of the Future. This award confirmed our ambition to build a modern, digital and sustainable manufacturing environment where innovation takes center stage.
Smart automation driving growth
Over the years, we have invested heavily in process automation. Today, we operate two advanced SMD lines with inline process control, two selective soldering lines with inline process control, automated functional test lines and inline Flying Probe Test systems.
Thanks to an integrated Manufacturing Execution System (MES), we can manage production planning, material flows, traceability and quality monitoring in real time.
Efficient logistics processes
Our internal logistics have also been further optimized. Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) ensure the automatic transport of products to the test lines, increasing efficiency and reducing lead times.
In addition, we use automated Essegi storage systems for component management (see photo above). This ensures that components are readily available, optimally managed and fully traceable throughout the production process.
Innovative assembly technologies
In addition to automation, we continuously invest in new assembly technologies. Our Fuji sFAB machine enables the automated placement of THT components, resulting in higher productivity and consistent quality.
For specific applications, we have also invested in a dedicated machine for the automated insertion of Press-Fit connectors, ensuring a highly accurate and repeatable process.
Ready for the future
What started fourteen years ago as a small-scale manufacturing department has evolved into a high-tech smart factory where digitalization, automation and quality go hand in hand. This evolution forms the foundation for our future growth and enables us to continue offering flexible and reliable manufacturing solutions.
The next step
At the beginning of next year, we will take another important step in the further expansion of our manufacturing environment. This investment will not only increase our capacity but also enhance the efficiency of our processes.
More information will follow soon.
