Our social committment
Beside our daily business operations, our social responsibility is very important to us. That is why we have equipped our buildings with "green" technologies for heating, lighting and ventilation. Therefore, we have entered into a cooperation with a Ugandan IoT start-up (for the optimisation of their production) and that is also why we support local sport team in their activities. But our social commitment goes further.
Collaborating with social enterprises creates a win-win situation
We see it as our social responsibility to involve social enterprises for customised work. "We work in two ways," says Andy Vanhooreweghe (Operations Manager - E.D.&A.). "On the one hand, the social enterprises carry out tasks for us at their own workplace, and on the other hand, their people work for us on site. In the latter case, they come to our location in Kalmthout every day, just like other E.D.&A. employees.
