The European Union is taking progressive steps to improve the level of cyber security of machines and devices. With, among others, the extension of the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and the upcoming Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), cybersecurity requirements are getting a legal framework. Complying with the new regulations coming into force in August 2025 is manageable but requires action.
