Our Continuous Improvement Team consisting of operators, manufacturing engineers and production management focuses on reducing lead times.

Analysis and improvement proposals

The production process was further mapped out and the actions regarding the running times of various machines are already yielding results. The improvement board gives us an insight into the causes of downtimes or delays. The Visual Management of the department was also further fine-tuned to avoid any delays.

Introducing the so-called fast lanes makes it clearer for operators to give them priority when processing for the next production step; not only in a more efficient way, but also with limited impact on the buffer.
