Big plans in strange times
Even in these strange times, we at E.D.&A. don't sit still. For example, our premises will be double in surface area to 8,000 m² by the end of March 2021. This is necessary to manage our growth and to create enough space for all our (new) colleagues and additional machine lines that will be delivered in April next year.
Full in-house EMC testing
The second floor is fully equipped as a development and testing room for R&D. The unique "fully compliant 3m Semi Anechoic Chamber (SAC)" will also be placed there. This will enable our engineers to perform full in-house EMC measurements.
Durability is of paramount importance to us
As with the current building, the starting points for the design of the expansion were: sustainable, plenty of daylight, comfortable for our employees and energy-efficient. Hence our choice of many "green" technologies ranging from geothermal heat pumps, balanced ventilation with heat recovery, lighting with daylight sensors, photovoltaic solar panels, green roofs, and so on. Additional showers are also being provided, as more and more employees are taking their bikes to come to work.
