Custom-made electronic control platform for water softeners

E.D.&A. developed a universal electronic controller platform for a manufacturer of residential and industrial water softeners.

The electronic controller that we developed can be used across the entire product line of water softeners. The look and feel for the different product lines can be adjusted. With one print design, both text displays and small QVGA TFT screens can be connected. Operation is possible by means of membrane keys or by capacitive keys behind glass or plastic.

The electronic controller is equipped with Wifi so that the end user can monitor and operate his or her device through an app. With this IoT solution, the user experience is extended further. Thanks to the Cloud solution, installers can decide whether or not the equipment requires maintenance. This allows our customer to reduce the service costs.
