Custom-made control for electric boiler

Since 1922, our customer has been developing and manufacturing technological solutions for hot water production and heating applications for the home and for business.

E.D.&A. developed an electronic controller for electric boilers. These boilers are used both for heating (radiators and underfloor heating) and for hot water (sanitary). Our controller can be intuitively operated via a touchscreen. Icons ensure language-independent operation. The installer also gets extra options such as error message logging, on-site software updates, etc.

Various software variants make the controller suitable for both the residential and the industrial end user. Specific programmes can be loaded for industrial use which allow, for example, the temporary use of the installation for the accelerated drying of building structures. The combination with solar panels and a decreasing heating requirement in modern homes means that the self-generated power can be usefully transformed into heat.
