Construction work to double the company building in Kalmthout is progressing well.

Our company building in Kalmthout will be doubled in surface area by the end of 2020 (there may be some delay due to the corona measures). This is necessary to be able to continue to grow and to create enough space for all our (new) colleagues and machines.

In July 2018 we purchased an adjacent plot of land of approximately 1,400 m². This gives us the opportunity to expand the current building with 3,335 m². In total we will then have more than 7,000 m² of floor space at our disposal. The new office part will have the same building height as the current one and the new production hall will have three full-fledged floors with a total height of 12.6 m. The expansion of the warehouse will also have that height.

Even more space for the development and production of custom-made electronics

Construction work is still on schedule and progressing well. Because we want a 'green roof' (above the office and production area) and the new production area will be provided with an extra floor (compared to the current building), this time we are working with vibration-free pile foundations.

In the production area of the new building there will be a large electrically driven elevator (in the current building this is still a hydraulic one). With this lift we can still get large and heavy goods on the first and second floor for EMC testing, for example.

The installation of a "fully compliant 3m Semi Anechoic Chamber (SAC)" in the new building will also enable our engineers to perform in-house radiated emission measurements.

At the moment the works are at a standstill due to the annual construction holidays, but everything will start again at the beginning of August.
