Implementation of new internal software systems for a future-proof working environment

Structured growth

In early February, we implemented our new internal software systems: the new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system ABAS (*) and the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) FactoryLogix (**). These new systems give us a foothold to continue growing as a manufacturing company in an even more structured way. This change is felt by our employees, but also by our customers and prospects. We try to minimise the inconvenience and planning problems caused by this transition period.

Focusing on customers even more

With these new systems, our colleagues can interact with each other more easily because they have the right information and are kept digitally informed through the system. This allows us to focus even more on what is really important for the organisation: putting the customer even more at the heart of our business. So let customer focus be one of our company's five core values. We will also communicate even more digitally with customers and suppliers, thus becoming fully part of the digital chain.

Link between ERP and MES

ERP and MES will be linked. For instance, there will be feedback from MES to ERP regarding the progress of work orders, consumption of goods, registration of hours and quantities produced.

(*) ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) stands for software used within organisations to support all processes within the company. It aims to maximise organisations' productivity, control costs and increase customer focus.

(**) MES (Manufacturing Execution System) focuses on the processes that take place on the shop floor such as production, detail planning, connexion of production machines, production instructions, material consumption, etc.
