Custom-made electronic controller for professional ironers

For this equipment manufacturer, E.D.&A. developed a new electronic controller with safety functions for an ironer.

In addition to the electronics with motor controller we also developed the user interface: a custom-made multi-colour LCD display with capacitive touch sensor.

From a cost perspective, more and more functions are being integrated into the electronic controller. These are not just functional items that determine the operation of the machine. Safety functions to prevent a machine from posing a danger to the environment or the operator are also integrated into the controller.

The result: expensive external safety components are no longer needed.
