2000
R&D department moved to new building (January 2009)
During he last years the amount of serial customers of E.D.&A. has been increasing so that more production/stock space and offices were needed.
The surface of the building is doubled in the meantime by placing a new building against the existing building. First the component stock and the production department (final tests and assembling) were installed in this new building.
The R&D engineers also moved to the first floor of the new building now. The concrete floors of the complete building are equipped with an ESD coating to protect our products against damaging static discharge. At this moment the existing building undergoes a severe renovation to create a consistent look through the 2 buildings. In the first building financial, administrative and commercial departments will be accommodated.
