Irrigation installations equipped with the V5-1000 HPC® (February 2008)
This Dutch customer has been producing irrigation installations to irrigate potato fields for years. They had some problems with the former controller. They were searching for a reliable alternative, which was also easily reachable by means of GSM. E.D.&A. has offered them this solution with the V5-1000 HPC® with a small graphic display.
The irrigation machine is a large reel with a hose, a pump and an engine. A tractor drives the irrigation installation to the end of the potato field, while the reel gets unrolled.
The software in the V5 HPC® takes care that the quantity of water is identical in each place. Therefore the hose will be pulled back at a calculated speed.
This manufacturer has already produced and delivered 60 irrigation machines with the new controller. The front of the controller has a private label with their own company colors.
