Controller regulates ventilation valves in case of fire (December 2009)
Our client provides products and services that optimize energy use and improve comfort and safety in buildings. In this context we can consider air conditioning, central heating, fire detection, etc.
This world leader in building efficiency came to E.D.&A. for the development of a controller specifically for the ventilation in large buildings.
In case of fire in these buildings we must make sure we prevent that ventilation systems fan the flames. All registers should be closed from one central computer system. This computer system receives alarms from the fire detection system. E.D.&A. is about to develop a controller to open/close the ventilation valves. All controllers have to be connected in one network with the central computer system.
