E.D.&A. is working more and more often as a total supplier. Not only does E.D.&A. deal with the development, production and assembly of electronic controllers; E.D.&A. also writes the software and designs the mechanical aspects built around the controllers' electronics.
E.D.&A. is therefore involved in the installation of the controllers in a casing or an electric cabinet with the cables, push buttons, terminal blocks, power supplies, membrane keyboards, batteries, etc. This whole system undergoes complete testing and is delivered punctually to the customer.
For all these stages you need only one contact point: E.D.&A..
Supply chain management
Using largely self-written support software, E.D.&A. supplies the controllers to its customers precisely on time. This is no easy task, as around thirty suppliers are used for some total products. If one supplier does not deliver on time, E.D.&A. cannot serve its customer. Because of the many years of experience of E.D.&A. with integral chain management, increasing numbers of customers are ordering complete products from E.D.&A.. As a result, E.D.&A. frees the customer from worry, so to speak.
