Description development / required specifications

The controller is designed so that the end customer can himself add up to 40 washing programmes via a computer or the washing machine itself. Transfer of washing programmes between the computer and washing machine is performed by infrared.

The end customer can programme the following parameters via this controller: cycle time (pre-wash, main wash, etc), water level per cm, running and stop times, pump out, cool off, etc.

Our customer sells these washing machines world-wide via their extensive distribution network. These machines find their way to hospitals, launderettes, hotels, prisons and large laundries.

In view of the great distances it is necessary for the controllers to be accessible via modem, so that "Remote Diagnostics" and "Remote Maintenance" are possible. This modem communication makes expensive travel arrangements for technicians superfluous.
