This customer is a specialist in the field of development and manufacture of ovens, in particular for bakeries and other industrial applications.
Description development / required specifications
The aim of our customer was a universal controller, suitable for each module of automatic tunnel rack ovens. These tunnel rack ovens are completely automated production lines where each module has its own function. The oven line can consist of: a raising module, (an) oven module(s), an inspection module, (a) cooler module(s), a deep cooler module, a freezer module and a transport module.
Characteristics
- Each module has its specific software and features. Because of the modular character of the V5 HPC® and its private labelling each module has a uniform appearance. All the modules in a network could be placed and managed by a centrally placed SCADA visualization package, if this was requested by the customer. For this request, the choice comes down to the RS485 with universal MODBUS RTU communication protocol.
The V5 HPC® also takes account of all the process requirements (temperature, moisture, etc). All adjustments and current data of the module are accessible via the internal LCD-display and keyboard.
