Description development / required specifications

One of the most sold products of this client is the measurement of engine power. With dredgers one has to be able to measure, the engine torque (that is to say the pulling power of the engine) at any moment. If this engine torque is too high (e.g. if the dredger's screw is stuck in the rock-bed), the screw or even the propeller shaft could break, if immediate action is not taken. While the measurement properties from the propeller shaft were adequate, the display was out-of-date. The project's purpose was to modernise the read-out and at the same time save on costs. For that reason a V5 HPC^® with touch screen was chosen.
