Controller for swarf transport system / filter installation

An American company specialised in machines for the metalworking industry. They make swarf transport systems combined with coolant filter installations.

Description development / required specifications

Among others, this company makes machines that monitor and improve the quality of the coolant. For this machine, a V5 with 7" colour TFT monitor is used to replace an ordinary PLC.

The other applications are each aimed at filtering coolant. The coolant is an expensive liquid that should be reused as much as possible. The main benefits with respect to a PLC solution: protection of the software (know-how cannot be read by customers and competitors), private label, and saving on cabling work.
