Development and production of a custom-made controller for a new high-pressure cleaner. The main objectives were 'the increase of user-friendliness' and 'taking worldwide exports into account'.
The design is based upon a single microprocessor chip with an internal memory for saving machine malfunctions. Machinists can call up a malfunction by entering a password. The controller is equipped with an easy-to-read graphic 128x64 pixel screen. The symbols used mean that the user interface is language-independent and applicable worldwide. The user can look up and modify the status (pressure, water temperature, etc.).
E.D.&A. is also responsible for delivering the control panels with a keyboard so that the client only deals with one contact for the whole control set.
