The equipment in which the V5 HPC^® forms the control unit, is mainly situated in the Middle-East and Africa, in very extreme conditions. The V5 HPC^® is built into the dashboard of a cockpit and drives the motor of a winch.

The task of the winch is to lower measuring instruments into gas and oil wells. Measuring instruments are mounted on the end of the cable. The equipment is erected on trucks and drilling rigs.
